We are hiring a Software Engineer — Technical Caller: a developer-minded professional who can represent our team on live video calls. You will join technical conversations with clients and stakeholders, explain software concepts in plain language, and follow along when people discuss stacks, APIs, architecture, delivery, and product decisions. This is not a traditional full-time coding role, but it is built for people with real software engineering or development experience who want a communication-heavy, client-facing contract. You should be comfortable with common developer vocabulary (frontend, backend, cloud, databases, integrations, QA, timelines) and able to think on your feet during EST-timezone meetings.

You will join live video calls, help clarify engineering questions, and keep technical discussions productive — especially with teams working in U.S. Eastern (EST) hours. If you have written code, shipped features, or collaborated with engineers and still enjoy talking through problems out loud, you are the profile we are looking for.
Requirements
- Hands-on software development or software engineering experience (professional, substantial personal projects, or open source).
- Strong spoken English for live calls with international teams.
- Availability for meetings during U.S. Eastern (EST/ET) hours.
- Comfortable on camera joining live technical and discovery calls.
- Able to discuss typical software engineering topics (requirements, scope, tradeoffs, timelines) clearly and calmly.
- Reliable internet, PC or laptop, and webcam for video calls.
- Professional, dependable, and comfortable representing Auron on calls.
